The project explores and documents the sonic environments of the three major areas of intact equatorial rainforest remaining on Earth. It has been conceived as a vehicle for raising public awareness of the bio-acoustic aspect of our natural heritage and the serious environmental issues pertaining to the loss of tropical forests and related species extinction. The project aims to communicate the organic equilibrium and intrinsic beauty of these ancient ecosystems and the potential for eco-acoustic musical composition. It is multi-disciplinary: a place where innovation in technology and science meet music and art to address environmental issues.
Unique 24-hour portraits of rare intact species ensembles (insects, birds, amphibians and mammals at once), manifesting the balanced interplay of their sonic languages, have been recorded for the first time with special 3D Soundfield microphones and are being presented with cutting edge electroacoustic technologies, through various sound installation formats including a full-periphonic three-dimensional geodesic structure for ambisonic multichannel reproduction onto 13+1 (minimum) 21+1 (ideal) 50+4 (maximun) loudspeakers, plus real-time spectrogram analysis projected in 360°.

Integrated Ecosystem is made from a single field recording of an entire night in the African primary rainforest. The first part is a time-lapse documentary created with unaltered sectors of the recording. The second part is a transformation by means of electroacoustic exploration of the rainforest’s bio-diverse spectrum that evolves into a composition; a sensor-aided live performance where a digital performer interacts with the natural system while following a real-time giant spectrogram. The untouched equatorial forest’s acoustic environment clearly shows the age and accumulated equilibrium of one of the richest ecosystems on Earth. The field recordings were conducted in a remote corner of Africa , the Dzanga-Sangha Dense Forest Reserve (a protected area in the south-western Central African Republic, with borders to Congo and Cameroon), as part of the project Fragments of Extinction. The entire 3D soundfield was sampled using space-inclusive (omnidirectional stereo sphere) and space-conservative techniques (binaural and B-format Ambisonics) to preserve the spatial information for spherical audio reproduction. In order to record the forest at night, when forest elephants become very dangerous, a ‘self-sufficient’ system in a box had to be hung from a tree, and the recordings used for this piece were made with this system.

Il Fair Play game è la realizzazione di un format di intrattenimento che prevede una sfida tramite giochi di diverso genere (a quiz , di abilità) e attività di prestazioni artistiche tra due o più tifoserie di sport o attività agonistiche di qualsiasi genere (calcio, nuoto,pallacanestro).
Ad ogni sfida partecipano rappresentanti delle squadre sportive (atleti, manager, allenatore), dei tifosi (club e famiglie complete) e autorità dei posti che ospitano gli eventi.
I partecipanti possono essere raggruppati nella stessa sede o in più sedi geograficamente distanti collegate tra di loro a mezzo di un sistema televisivo oppure tramite internet.
Compito del “Fair Play Game” è anche avvicinare le famiglie, i bambini e le persone più anziane allo sport con i protagonisti degli eventi sportivi.

SYNOPSIS
Pericle, an elderly retired school teacher, lives in a remote mountain village. One night, during a heavy snowfall, Pericle receives the letter written by an old lady, one of his schoolmate (Veridiana) who warns him of his precarious state of health. She encourages him to his bedside to bid her farewell. She would soon be dead. So that night, Pericle made the acquaintance, of Goffredo, her nephew sent by Veridiana. The boy led him to her. Goffredo, reveals himself to be a young and very eccentric character, who helps him in the undertaking . Pericle together with his new friend would go to Veridiana’s house by an old train. But surprisingly, Veridiana, makes its appearance directly on the train, creating astonishment and amazement in the elder Pericle. Several turn of events along the way, will make this trip a real search about questions and answers. Among many disclosures there will be an encounter with a famous character in cinema / television. A journey that will transform the nature of Pericle, toward redemption, courage, values of friendship and the rediscovery of drowsy love. It will reveal to be a retrospective journey of the soul in search of serenity. A surprising and sad final ending shows the pivot of the whole adventure, detecting the true identities of characters, that will bring the audience to a completely unexpected key to fairytale..

SYNOPSIS
1944. A U.S. soldier is going to write a farewell letter, blaming the cruelty and horrors of war. The mood and feeling of mankind devastated by the power and the cruel wickedness, contrasts with the right to live and loving. His distaste for the war leads him to perform from there at a short time an act of desperation. For his sensitiveness and his will to live, the horror of war is too bigger. But the farewell letter conceals a hidden truth and definitely unexpected. The plot with an amazing shot in the final scene permits to appreciate a suggestive location, and a multi-faceted character of the protagonist. All these aspects will lead the viewer to reflect on the state of mind of a soldier in time of war. The main character takes on himself a very heavy individually mission and we can’t perceive the subtile line of boundary between “Good and Evil”.
